Who: Cantor Nicole Hankemeier-Fahlman in partnership with St. Matthew's Lutheran Church
What: Offering FREE eight session music literacy and movement class to pre-school age children. Each session will introdruce a musical note of the C Major scale for the students to learn about in games, art, instrumental play and singing. There will be an opportunity to sing in front of the congregation in mid-December and the class will culminate in a "open-house" demonstration recap.
Where: St. Matthew's German Lutheran Church, 3281 16th St., San Francisco, CA 94103
When: Our kick off celebration will be Sunday, November 1, 2009 after the 11 o'clock service with a puppet show. The class will be held on Wednesday afternoons from 12:30-1:00 beginning November 4th, 2009.
Why: To reach out to families in our neighborhood and community.

Special Music for Reformation Sunday@ St. Matthew's German Lutheran

This Sunday at St. Matthew's the Oakland Turnverien Chor will join St. Matthew's German Lutheran at the 11 o'clock service for their annual Reformation Celebration.
